Boundary Value Problem for Second-order Differential Operators with Mixed Nonlocal Boundary Conditions

چکیده
In this paper, we study a second order differential operator with mixed nonlocal boundary conditions combined weighting integral boundary condition with another two point boundary condition. Under certain conditions on the weighting functions and on the coefficients in the boundary conditions, called non regular boundary conditions, we prove that the resolvent decreases with respect to the spectral parameter in L (0, 1), but there is no maximal decreasing at infinity for p ≥ 1. Furthermore, the studied operator generates in L (0, 1) an analytic semi group with singularities for p ≥ 1. The obtained results are then used to show the correct solvability of a mixed problem for a parabolic partial differential equation with non regular boundary conditions.

A MIXED PARABOLIC WITH A NON-LOCAL AND GLOBAL LINEAR CONDITIONS
Krein [1] mentioned that for each PD equation we have two extreme operators, one is the minimal in which solution and its derivatives on the boundary are zero, the other one is the maximal operator in which there is no prescribed boundary conditions. They claim it is not possible to have a related boundary value problem for an arbitrarily chosen operator in between. They have only considered lo...

The present paper deals with the eigenvalue problems for oneand two-dimensional second order differential operators with given nonlocal coupled boundary conditions. The corresponding finite-difference (discrete) problems have been investigated in the paper [1]. First of all, we will consider the eigenvalue problem for one-dimensional differential operator with given nonlocal coupled boundary co...
